Thanks, I left with the intention of returning to government service in the future. But, because I was in between assignments and had just jumped from one division where I was well known, to another one where I hadn't yet made a name for myself, and it was COVID and I wasn't in a regular Hqs job, nobody in my new division tried to stop me from walking out the door. Just filled out a few forms online and didn't let the door hit me on the way out.

I’m going to go over it again several times while I hone in on your thoughts, processes, etc. You’ve given some great advice here and a serious roadmap that can be followed by many.
